Oakley, California – Head-on accident on Bethel Island Rd leaves two injured

Oakley, California (September 19, 2021) – Two people were injured in a head-on collision between two cars on Bethel Island Road in Oakley late Sunday evening September 19.

An East Contra Costa Fire Protection District battalion commander said unidentified drivers of both vehicles were taken by ambulance to unspecified local hospitals. The two sustained moderate injuries as a result of the 9:15 p.m. crash, which happened outside the Tail Wag Inn in the 4900 block of Bethel Island Road.
