Fresno, Calif .– Yingyathaji Lee killed in tractor-trailer collision on Highway 99
Fresno, California (October 10, 2021) – A fatal tractor-trailer crash occurred in the northbound lanes of Highway 99 near Herndon Avenue on Sunday, October 3 at around 2:30 a.m. in Fresno.
The deceased has since been identified as Yingyathaji Lee.
Investigators determined that a previous collision had left a few disabled vehicles on the roadway. This blockage caused a box truck to bypass the cars and strike a car parked on the shoulder of the highway, killing the driver.
The other two passengers on the truck sustained moderate injuries. They were transported by paramedics to a nearby hospital.
We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased victim, Mr. Yingyathaji Lee, at this time. Our hearts go out to the injured victims and their families in the hope of a full recovery.
