Fresno, California – Accident tears off utility pole in Southeast Fresno

FRESNO, California (December 30, 2021)After a rollover accident in southeast Fresno on Wednesday, one person was hospitalized and a utility pole sheared.

The Fresno Fire Department reports that shortly after 6:00 p.m., a southbound car struck a utility pole and overturned on Chestnut Avenue. Fresno Pacific University is only a short distance from this area.

He was taken to hospital after getting out of the car. The cause of the accident is unknown.

At the time, there was only one person in the vehicle. No other injuries were reported.
