Cambridge police officers responded to a Massachusetts Avenue pharmacy with a shoplifting report. The suspect was arrested and identified with certainty as William Harrell, 53, 794 Massachusetts Avenue in Boston. Harrell had two Dorchester and Brockton District Court arrest warrants and was charged with shoplifting by concealing goods and carrying a dangerous weapon after he was found in possession of a folding knife of four inches when arrested.

A resident of Elm Street said he was threatened on June 16, 2021 at around 8:10 p.m. The victim said he received several phone calls today. One was from an unknown woman asking her to wire money through Western Union to “stay out of trouble”. A suspect later called him and made death threats against the victim and his family.
